NOTD: Purple Marble Nail Art
REAL MARBLE NAIL ART
This is my second attempt at Sammy from The Nailasaurus's real marble technique 😍
If you've not seen Sammy's method before, it's actually really easy to try out, as long as you've got a stamper and a few different shades of polish. It's the only type of nail art I can even attempt!
Pick a few colours - the more similar they are the more natural and subtle the effect will be. In hindsight, for this colour combo I would swap the stark white for a pale grey, to blend in a bit more. The thing about the technique is that it comes out differently every time, so it takes a bit of practice! My rose quartz/pale pink attempt (inspiration here) earlier this year turned out better than this purpley grey version, but I've learned from it and I can't wait to try other colour combinations.
Sammy recently shared a post from NinaNailedIt on Instagram using a gorgeous bright blue, so once you've got the technique down then there's a whole world of options.
Base: Barry M Almond, Marbling: Essie Take Me to Thread, MoYou White, Nails Inc New Oxford Street, China Glaze When Stars Collide (thumb and ring finger)
